Based on a classic design, Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 3 has been crafted from stainless-steel and fine leather to create a stylish device that looks the part, no matter if you’re in the board room or the gym. Capable of receiving and sending texts, WhatsApp messages and phone calls, the water resistant to 5ATM Galaxy Watch 3 with rotating bezel and Super AMOLED touch display, can track your health, help control your Smart devices, as well as store and play your music.
Look the part
Galaxy Watch 3 has loads of watch faces to choose from, however to really personalise the device, you can always take a photo of your outfit (using your compatible phone) and the Galaxy Watch 3 will provide various watch face options for you – using the colours you’re wearing, so you always look on-trend.
Ready when you are
There’s no need to fiddle with apps or settings, the Galaxy Watch 3 with built-in GPS will automatically store your every walk, run, cycle or swim – cleverly recognising when you’re working out. You’re able to set daily goals and track your progress, aiding you to hit your targets.
Wrist DJ
Connect your Galaxy Watch 3 to a set of compatible Bluetooth headphones, such as the Galaxy Buds Live (sold separately) and control your music and the volume directly from your wrist.
Slide controller
Forget about using a slide clicker during your next presentation – just download the PPT Controller app, connect to the host PC and swipe the Galaxy Watch 3’s face to jump from slide to slide – ensuring you’re in control of the session.
Real-time Running Coach
Thanks to multiple sensors analysing real-time data, the Galaxy Watch 3 can guide you with relevant coaching workout advice. The wrist-based, real-time Running Coach allows you to set a target and then prompts you to keep on track. There’s a range of pre-set pace programs for all fitness levels, to aid you to walk, jog or sprint your way to your next goal.
Powershare
Most top-end smart phones are Powershare enabled these days (meaning the phone itself can charge up other devices, such as wireless headphones or smart watches). Just place the Galaxy Watch 3 on the back of your compatible phone to refuel if you ever require a cheeky top up when you’re out and about – and get ready to look out for some rather envious faces.
When you’re home, just lay the Galaxy Watch 3 on the included magnetic wireless charger to return it to full power – handily, there are no charging jacks or wires required.
Health monitoring
Galaxy Watch 3’s health monitoring will keep an eye on your heart rate (HR) and send you an alert when it goes above or below normal levels. Additionally, it can notify you if your stress levels are too high (the Galaxy Watch 3 will recommend some breathing exercises to help). Handily, it also integrates with Samsung’s Women’s Health app.
Sleep well
Thanks to sleep monitoring technology, the Galaxy Watch 3 is able to monitor your sleep and then provide a rundown of just how deeply you slept when you finally rise.
In the fast lane
As splash and water resistant as some new mobile phones might be, we wouldn’t advise anyone to go swimming with them at the moment (there’s a huge difference between gently submerging a device in pure water in the lab, and the chemicals, pressures and forces involved when swimming). The Galaxy Watch 3 is waterproof to 5 ATM, so there’s no need to worry – it’s great for tracking your pool-based training sessions.
App happy
There are loads of apps available for the Galaxy Watch 3, such as torches, alarms, stopwatches, calculators, reminders, music players, messaging, contacts, health, sat navs and picture galleries, just to name a few – ensuring every part of your day is covered.
Smart home help
Download Samsung’s SmartThings app, along with their Bixby virtual assistant and get set to control your compatible Smart devices directly from your wrist – either via a quick tap or with voice commands – just connect to the internet to get started.
Tap and pay
Leave your credit card at home and use your Galaxy Watch 3 and Samsung Pay instead. Just register your credit card and you’re good to go – just tap and pay as usual.
What’s the difference between Bluetooth and 4G cellular?
Bluetooth connectivity
Some smart watches with Bluetooth, such as the Galaxy Watch 3, can let you send and receive text messages, answer telephone calls and receive notifications when it’s connected to your (compatible) phone via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
Bluetooth + 4G Cellular
The Galaxy Watch 3 4G has all the same great features as the above, as well as built-in cellular. It gives you the freedom to send and receive text messages, answer phone calls and even receive notifications when you don’t have your phone with you.
Cellular Carrier Support
Connecting your Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 4G Cellular to a cellular network requires the same carrier as your (compatible) phone.
Additional information: manufacturers often update their Operating System (OS) software over the course of a device’s lifespan – this means that your product might ship with a more advanced OS than specified.
